Dr Gray's hospital in Elgin is now home to an award winner, as nurse Caroline Riddoch is named Scottish Dermatology Nurse of the Year. Caroline has been specialising in dermatology for ten years and has been working in Moray for the last five years. The award was given by the Scottish Dermatological Nursing Society (SDNS), and recognises her commitment to her patients, her drive to educate others and to continue her own self learning. Caroline said "I was surprised and delighted to be nominated, even more so when I was announced as the winner. This award is not just for me, it also reflects on the whole department and the services we provide across Grampian." Hazel Whyte, Manager for Planned Care at Dr Gray's, said "We're thrilled that Caroline's hard work - and the work of the whole team - has been recognised in this way."
