It is best to have a relative or friend bring with you to the hospital so that you do not need to worry about driving or parking. Even if you are fit to go home the same day as your operation you must not drive if you have had a general or spinal anaesthetic. If you are unable to have someone bring you to hospital then you should get in touch with your own GP to arrange “patient transport” for you. |
